The rates and fees below apply to new applicants only and are subject to change. If your Coles MasterCard application is successful, your rates and fees will be confirmed in your welcome pack.

Standard Fees and Charges

Name of fee/charge Amount What you need to know
Annual fee $49 Applies after your first purchase and on the anniversary of that first purchase every year afterwards.
Interest rate 19.99% The interest you pay on purchases and cash advances.
Interest free days Up to 62 days The number of days no interest will be charged for the Coles MasterCard purchases you make using your credit card.

Name of fee/charge Amount What you need to know
Cash advance fee 3% of the cash advance/cash equivalent transaction or $1.95 - whichever is greater A cash advance fee will be charged to your account on each occasion you obtain a cash advance or carry out a cash equivalent transaction.  Some ATMs may charge an additional usage fee.  This usage fee can be avoided by using Westpac ATMs.
International ATM Fee $4 in addition to the cash advance fee This is charged on each occasion you withdraw cash from an automatic teller machine outside Australia.
International (OTC) Fee $5 in addition to the cash advance fee This is charged on each occasion you withdraw cash outside Australia via an over the counter transaction
International transaction fee 2.5% on all purchases and cash This is charged when you obtain funds or make a purchase outside of Australia or in a foreign currency
Late fee $25.00 This is charged if you do not pay any amount that is due and payable (e.g. your minimum monthly payment) by the due date.
Australia Post payments $2.00 The cost incurred from making a payment at Australia Post.
Paper statement fee 50 cents per statement You can avoid this fee by opting to receive your statement online. Simply login to the Online Service Centre and register for online statements.
